North of the square you will find the Mayberry Cafe, which embodies the small town Americana feel. The name says it all!
Owned and operated since 1989 by Christine and Brad Born, the Mayberry Cafe is filled with memorabilia collected by Brad about his favorite television program, The Andy Griffith Show.
With a menu inspired by Aunt Bee’s home cooking, they are open for lunch and dinner offering up traditional home cooking.

There are many great businesses that call Danville home. Many of these businesses have been here for generations.
One such example is Midland Post Frame Buildings, who has served Danville and Hendricks County for 75 years.
Midland has been building post frame builds for all sorts of applications, such as residential, commercial, churches, horse barns, and farms. All buildings are custom built and tailored to meet the needs of each customer. Move Indy is proud and honored to be neighbors with Midland!
The Indiana Lyons, an American Basketball Association (ABA) team, also calls Danville home.
The league itself consists of nearly 200 teams across North America and Japan. They just celebrated their 22-23 ABA Co-Championship this past weekend.
They play their home games at Bosstick Gym (also known as the Lyons Den) at 49 N Wayne St. here in Danville.

PRICING GUIDE for LOCAL HOURLY MOVING SERVICES
Intrastate, interstate and flat-fee moves are priced differently. Please contact the office for pricing questions.
Move Indy believes in simple and transparent pricing.
Our billing consists of only 2 components: a flat travel charge + the hourly labor.
If you choose to pay by credit card, we charge a 3% processing fee.
There are no additional fees or surprise charges…EVER!
Travel Charge
The travel charge covers ALL expenses associated with getting our truck(s) & crew to/from your job. The travel charge is a flat rate, based on your origin & destination locations.
Local Moves
Hourly labor charges begin when our crew arrives at the job. The hourly rate is charged for the time spent loading & unloading, as well as travel time between your locations.
Deposit
We charge a small deposit to hold your spot on our calendar. Deposits are applied towards the total cost of your move. A standard deposit is $100 per truck per day.

LOCAL MOVING
- This is a move (within Indiana) that is less than 50 miles from Point A to Final Destination.
- Local moves have a flat travel charge + an hourly labor charge.
- The flat travel charge covers our travel to/from the job.
- The hourly labor rate is charged for loading, unloading, and travel time between locations.
- Pricing includes the appropriate number of movers & trucks to complete the job.
INTRASTATE MOVING
- This is a move (within Indiana) that is more than 50 miles from Point A to Final Destination.
- Intrastate moves have a flat travel charge + an hourly labor charge (for the load & unload only).
- The flat travel charge on intrastate moves encompasses ALL travel time (including to/from the job).
- The hourly labor rate is charged for time spent loading & unloading only.
- Pricing includes the appropriate number of movers & trucks to complete the job.
INTERSTATE MOVING
- This is a move that crosses Indiana state lines.
- All interstate moves are flat-fee moves. We will quote the job inclusive of all travel and labor time.
- Pricing includes the appropriate number of movers & trucks to complete the job.
- We do not share truck space. You will have the same crew for the load AND unload.
FLAT RATE MOVING
- This is a local move that is performed for one set fee, regardless of travel time or labor time.
- This is usually for one-item moves or special circumstances.
- We can also move items around within your home.
- Flat rate moves typically require the customer to be flexible on their move date & arrival window.
- Pricing includes the appropriate number of movers & trucks to complete the job.
- If you are interested in a flat rate move, call us to discuss!
LABOR-ONLY SERVICES
- This is a special service where Move Indy provides labor only.
- Labor-only services are used for customers who wish to supply their own trucks, PODs, etc.
- Move Indy will provide the manpower to help load and/or unload.
- The customer must supply everything else.
- (The customer can purchase moving pads, stretch wrap and straps through Move Indy, if desired).
COMPLIMENTARY SERVICES
All moves include the following services (at no additional charge):
- Padding and wrapping of all furniture
- Entryway floor and door protection
- Providing all necessary equipment (dollies, straps, pads, wrap, etc.)
- If requested, we can disassemble and reassemble common furniture items (beds, tables, etc.)
