At Move Indy, we keep pricing simple and transparent, no gimmicks, no hidden fees, no surprises when the bill arrives. Our billing structure for local hourly moves consists of just two components: a flat travel charge and an hourly labor rate. That’s it.
Intrastate, interstate, and flat-fee moves are priced differently. If you have questions about a specific type of move, contact our office and we’ll walk you through your options with complete clarity.
Note: If you choose to pay by credit card, a 3% processing fee applies.
Travel Charge
The travel charge covers ALL expenses associated with getting our truck(s) & crew to/from your job. The travel charge is a flat rate, based on your origin & destination locations.
Local Moves
Hourly labor charges begin when our crew arrives at the job. The hourly rate is charged for the time spent loading & unloading, as well as travel time between your locations.
Deposit
We charge a small deposit to hold your spot on our calendar. Deposits are applied towards the total cost of your move. A standard deposit is $100 per truck per day.
